Getting Paid using the Construction Contracts Act

The long awaited Construction Contracts Act 2013 has now been enacted into Irish Law.  It applies to all construction contracts entered into from 25 July 2016 onwards.  Despite a lot of industry and legal commentary being dedicated to the adjudication provisions of the Act, it is important to remember that the Act is fundamentally about payment and cash flow.
