Robbie is an expert in contract law, construction law and procurement.

Robbie’s contract law experience is vast and he has represented some of the UK’s most high profile public and private companies. He was one of the leading players in getting the ICE Law and Contracts course implemented in Northern Ireland and was also one of the key lecturers.

He has drafted bespoke construction contracts for employers, main contractors and subcontractors in England, Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland. He has also provided both contentious and non-contentious advice to clients of all natures and sizes on the validity of bespoke forms of contracts and clauses. He has dealt with issues for clients operating as far afield as the Middle East and Australia.

He has represented clients in litigation and all forms of dispute resolution, encompassing a range of engineering and construction issues, and has an enviable success ratio.

Robbie also regularly provides in house training on use of the standard forms.

He has drafted and implemented entire procurement processes for numerous public bodies and has offered advice on various aspects of procurement to countless more. He is equally adept at bringing and defending challenges and is proud of his record in achieving positive results for his client’s, whether in the capacity of game keeper or poacher.
