Procurement Paralegal

The Role

Working under the direction and supervision of senior staff members, the role of the Procurement Paralegal will entail:

  • Liaising directly with clients on a regular basis on procurement law matters
  • Provide advice to clients (dos and don’ts of procurement)
  • Producing letters, legal documents, tender documentation, and contracts
  • Design (presentations) and delivery of training programmes
  • Assisting with all aspects of practice development

 

The Person

To be successful in this role, applicants should have:

  • Procurement law experience
  • A sound commercial knowledge, commercial client focused and keen interest in the legal aspects of procurement law
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • An ability to meet deadlines efficiently and to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at every stage
  • A strong desire to develop a career with an ambitious firm providing a high-quality service to meet and exceed its client requirements
  • A high level of IT awareness, must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office Packages
