The UK public sector is required to procure works in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, as amended.   

This half-day webinar will give delegates an overview of what the law in place currently is and what it requires public sector bodies to do to meet their legal obligations.  The course will also look at some of the changes that procurement professionals face when the Procurement Bill is implemented.

  • Overview of the UK legal framework; 
  • Structure of the Public Procurement Regulations 2015; 
  • Review of the main procurement procedures (open, restricted etc); 
  • How to carry out a tender evaluation; 
  • De-briefing and confidentiality obligations; 
  • Remedies available to an aggrieved bidder; and  
  • Changes under the Procurement Bill and how it will alter the landscape of UK public procurement. 

Procurement professionals working from home or in the office are encouraged to log into this this webinar.  CPD certificates will be provided following successful completion of the course.
