This course is designed to give an overview of the law which governs public sector procurement – from drafting compliant tender documents, to challenging tender processes.

This course is aimed at individuals who are new to procurement and who work within the public sector, including local authorities and housing associations.

  • A review of the key practical elements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
  • A review of NI Public Procurement Policy
  • Selecting an appropriate procurement procedure
  • Using award criteria (including quality questions) effectively
  • Tender evaluation and debriefing
  • Challenging a tender process and legal remedies
