Adjudication in Ireland – three years on – Seminar

12 February 2019

Quigg Golden Dublin, 31 Waterloo Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4

17:30 - 19:30

When the Construction Contracts Act came into law in 2016, it was anticipated that it would revolutionise the industry.

One of the main components was the introduction of the statutory adjudication process for dispute resolution.

Three years on, what impact has adjudication had?  How has it been embraced?  Has it succeeded?

In this seminar, we will examine the adjudication experience in Ireland to date and provide guidance on how to manage the process.

Who should attend?

Contractors, sub-contractors, construction professionals and employers will all benefit from this seminar as the Act applies to every aspect of the industry.

Topics covered

  • When can you actually use Adjudication?
  • Payment schedules and the CCA 2013;
  • The benefits of Adjudication versus other forms of ADR;
  • The service of key documents – practical tips;
