Quigg Golden is a busy, expanding construction and procurement law firm and we are looking for talented Solicitor or Barrister to join us in our Dublin offices.

Ideally you will have in excess of 2 years’ post qualification experience. Our core areas of work are in construction and procurement, so candidates with a real interest in those areas, ideally with relevant qualifications and/or experience will have a head start.

Working with us full time is the usual thing, but if you want more flexible working arrangements and are keen on what we do, then please contact us.

If you do join us, the type of work you will be doing includes advising clients on:

  • Contentious and non-contentious construction and/or procurement law matters;
  • Construction dispute management including litigation, mediation, conciliation, arbitration, adjudication and other ADR processes;
  • Contract drafting, negotiation and advice;
  • Dispute avoidance and contract management;
  • Claims analysis and negotiation;
  • Procurement policy and strategy; and
  • EU procurement law issues.

You will be joining a growing team and so you will have to want to work with others and be interested in business development activities. It is going to help if you have:

  • Experience in delivering multiple projects to strict deadlines;
  • An excellent track record in your primary discipline with support references;
  • A good academic background in a relevant discipline;
  • Good knowledge of the commercial, legal and policy aspects of the construction industry and/or public procurement; and
  • the ability to meet deadlines efficiently and to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at every stage.

You will also find it useful if you have:

  • a high level of IT awareness; and
  • a full driving licence.

We invest in our people and support them in what they do.  The work is exiting but also demanding.  If you are successful you will find yourself in a happy dynamic office and regularly meeting and dealing with clients.

There will be times when you have to work outside normal hours and have to travel.  This could occasionally require work throughout the UK and Ireland including periods in Quigg Golden’s other offices. The role may also involve working in the Middle East, in particular the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

If you are interested and believe you have the skills and qualifications to meet this role, please apply by submitting your CV together with a covering letter through the “Apply Now” link or to Please quote job reference DUBLIN LEGAL.
